“Broken Limbs Recordings was founded in 2012 and began for all intents and purposes to help spread the music we enjoy and promote artists who we feel are overlooked across many genres. We are a relatively small but dedicated label based out of New York City and the west of Ireland. Our devotion for music knows no bounds. Being fans and musicians ourselves, we have a greater understanding of the mechanics of not just the business, but more importantly the needs of the artists we work with. When we reach out to an artist, it’s because we personally believe in what that artist is doing. We do not discriminate when it comes to the ‘size’ of a band. We believe the main objectives of our label is to support the artist, enable and encourage them to grow, and build a loyal fan base. This is important to us. Our ideology is driven by an approach that combines passion, a steadfast DIY ethic and an adherence to “quality over quantity”, as evidenced by the limited pressing runs, unique packaging and presentation.
